Nova Scotia regulators remain hopeful about offshore exploration despite a recent spate of disappointing well results in the region. "We haven't given up hope," Nova Scotia's executive director of Petroleum Resources Sandy MacMullin said Wednesday. "We know there's gas out there, we have tested it, we have sampled it from deep-water...so we know it's there."
