The Moscow-based operator said its board of directors has decided to “terminate” Popov’s membership of the management board, without stating a reason.
Popov had been a director at Novatek since 2003, a member of the management board since 2007 and had held the most recent dual role of first deputy chairman and commercial director since 2011, according to the company's website.
