Ocean Installer said the contract, which included suction pile and sheave assembly, had been awarded by Italy’s Saipem, which had been contracted to carry out pipelay operations at the development.
The project is the company’s first for Saipem and the first time Ocean Installer would use long-term chartered subsea construction vessel Normand Clipper since its charter over the vessel started on 1 May.
