The well, which is located in the district of Sukkur on Block 2769-15, has now been delineated, drilled and tested, OGDC said.
Total depth at Thal East was reached at 4468 metres, as the well was targeting the Massive and Basal sands of Lower Goru formation and any prospective sand of the Sembar formation.
The well produced 23.5 million cubic feet of gas through 36/64-inch choke at the well head flowing pressure of 3820 pounds per square inch.
