Confirming the contract award, the UK’s Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) stated in its latest update that OHT would use its heavy-lift vessel OHT Hawk to perform the dry cargo transport.
The vessel is scheduled to arrive late September in Broad Bay at the Isle of Lewis where the rig is presently anchored after running aground last month at Dalmore Bay on the western coastline of the Scottish island, according to the MCA.
