OMV spent over US$335.2 million since April last year drilling four new wells using the jack-up Ensco-107, with the rig now preparing to demobilise from the field.
When OMV started the redevelopment project output at the field had slipped from a peak of about 40,000 barrels per day six years ago to roughly 10,000 bpd.
Once the final well of the redevelopment campaign is tied into production, OMV expects output to reach close to 20,000 bpd.
