The company posted a profit of nearly US$55.8 million for the six months to 30 June, recovering from a loss of US$23.8 million over the same period last year.
Preventing the company posting a first half loss was more than US$81 million in “other income”, $21.4 million of which KrisEnergy attributed to the sale of a mobile offshore production unit and related marine assets which had been deployed at the Wassana field in Thailand.
