Three sources closely associated with the tender process told Upstream that ONGC has awarded the key subsea project to the consortium led by US giant McDermott and Indian partner Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
"They (ONGC) have issued the award to the McDermott and L&T consortium this week," one source confirmed.
Another source also confirmed the development and said that a kick-off meeting is imminent.
