The state giant has signed a three-year deal that will see GE provide around 55 subsea wellheads, which will be used in shallow- to medium-depth water.
The first wellhead is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter, with part of the project scope executed in Kakinada, India.
Upstream reported last monththat GE is in the running to land some work as ONGC kicks off the main subsea contract for its $5 billion-plus KG-DWN-98/2 deep-water project off India’s east coast.
