The Belgian contractor said it continues to pursue "a number of projects around the world" related to its compact semi-submersible production facility, but more waiting is in store due to market conditions.
Exmar's Opti design, billed as proven and low-cost, has been creating buzz and interest as operators worldwide have sought to simplify and standardise increasingly complex field developments.
"Due to the current energy prices, decisions to award contracts for these projects have been delayed until the second half of 2016," Exmar said in a provisional earnings release.
