The company said that the High Court of England and Wales has approved the capital reduction necessary to complete the deal as sanctioned by the London-based court last week.
Salamander Energy shareholders are receiving 0.5719 new Ophir Energy shares for each of their applicable stock under the deal agreed last November.
The enlarged capital of Ophir Energy is due for admission to the London stock exchange tomorrow.
