The Yolla-5 production well was drilled using the jack-up West Telesto and reached a total depth of 3384 metres.
Project partner AWE said the well successfully intersected the primary reservoir targets in the Paleocene EVCM sands at depths of 2755, 2809 and 2973 metres.
It added that good continuity of reservoir quality and thickness was observed between Yolla-5 and the recently drilled Yolla-6 well.
