Origin revealed the pair had signed a non-binding heads of agreement for the former to supply ENN with 500,000 tonnes of LNG per annum over a five-year period, with the ability to extend the deal an additional five years.
Origin expects to sign a binding sale and purchase agreement in the second half of the year, with deliveries under the agreement expected to start in 2018 or 2019 following the completion of ENN's Zhoushan receiving terminal in Zhejiang province, China.
