Otto said Thursday the drillship Maersk Venturer was expected to mobilise to Hawkeye-1 on 31 July, which is expected to take one-to-two days to arrive on location.
The rig will start drilling once it arrives on location and is expected to take about 23 days to complete operations, at a cost of between $30 million and $35 million.
The Hawkeye-1 well is targeting the clastic late Miocene Pagasa formation and is believed to hold a best estimate gross prospective resource of 112 million barrels of oil.
