According to energy consultancy company EnergyQuest, Australia’s LNG production over the 12-month period increased 46% to 37.5 million tonnes as projects around the country, particularly in Queensland, ramped up.
However, according to the report, export revenue fell slightly compared to a year ago, to A$16.6 billion (US$12.5 billion), as the average LNG price slipped from A$11.86 per gigajoule in 2014-15 to A$7.98/GJ
