The government has sought expressions of interest for both long-term and short-term contracts from LNG suppliers and these are due for submission by 30 June, Muzaffar told Upstream at the Pakistan Ministerial Session at the 21st World Petroleum Congress in Moscow.
A delegation from Pakistan has already visited Qatar to discuss LNG sales deals but price was a stumbling block, said sources.
