Rosneft said it had signed no fewer than 58 agreements and memoranda during the forum, even more than the 40 it signed in St Petersburg last year.
Rosneft singled out its agreements with BP, apparently to demonstrate the willingness of the UK supermajor to continue investing in Russia, despite the country’s growing isolation in the international arena because of its covert support of separatists in eastern Ukraine.
