The Houston-based contractor will start work on 1 July under the seven-year contract for drilling services dished out by operating consortium Hibernia Management and Development Company (HMDC), according to a report by Canadian news outlet CBC. No value was revealed for the award.
It would mark the loss of the deal for US counterpart Paragon, which has been carrying out drilling work at Hibernia for several years.
