The Italian major’s chief executive Claudio Descalzi met with Venezuelan Oil Minister and president of state giant PDVSA Eulogio del Pino to discuss investment in the next phase of the field development, after first gas was achieved in July last year.
PDVSA said in a statement on Thursday that the field is now producing more than 500 million cubic feet per day of gas and 15,000 barrels per day of condensate and natural gas liquids.
