The new properties include 5274 net (6040 gross) surface acres and are located in Upton, Reagan, and Glasscock Counties, Texas, Parsley said in a statement late on Wednesday.
The deal includes 238 net horizontal drilling locations in the company's core operating area. The properties have "infrastructure in place to support ongoing horizontal drilling operations", the company said, adding that there is "no obligation to develop for two years".
