The move came as Octanex advised Peak it would not extend the end date for the implementation agreement for the proposed scheme of arrangement beyond 31 December.
Octanex also told Peak it was not prepared to advance it any further loan funds in relation to the loan agreement between the two companies.
Peak has already received a A$1.9 million (US$1.5 million) loan from Octanex under the agreement.
