Petrobras axes Sevan Drilling rig

Brazil’s Petrobras has terminated its contract with Sevan Drilling for an ultra-deepwater cylindrical rig while slashing the dayrate for a sister unit as the Seadrill-owned contractor battles to maintain backlog amid a market slump.
