The company produced an average of nearly 2.76 million barrels of oil equivalent per day last month, up from 2.7 boepd during July.

The increase came mainly from domestic production which rose 2.9% in August to 2.55 million boepd, compared to nearly 2.48 million boepd the month prior.

Petrobras largely attributed the increased output to the ramp up of platforms P-55 at the Roncador field, P-58 at Parque das Baleias, and the Cidade de Paraty at Lula Nordeste floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
