The Sinopec rig 50117, which arrived on the Isarene permit in November, spudded the AT-10 probe on Sunday, the London-listed explorer said.
The well is in the north of the field, some 3.4 kilometres from the AT-1 discovery well and 2 kilometres from the AT-8 appraisal.
Total planned depth at the development well is 1989 metres and the well is targeting the Ordovician reservoir formation.
