Malaysia’s Petronas reported a 27% fall in annual net profit in 2014 as a result of tumbling oil prices that pushed the state company into its first ever quarterly loss in the fourth quarter.
The Kuala Lumpur-headquartered energy player posted a net loss of RM7.3 billion for the fourth quarter versus a net profit of RM12.8 billion in the year-ago period as revenues fell 6% to RM79.4
