Petroneft said on Thursday that the Arbuzovskoye well A-216, which was spudded last month, was drilled to a total depth 2733 metres and logged.
While the well was not in the original firm work programme for the South Arbuzovskoye field, it was added based on the successful results of the neighbouring A-213, A-214 and A-215 wells, according to the explorer.
"The A-216 well provides an additional drainage point on the southern end of the structure and targeted the J1-1 and J1-2 intervals as seen in the A-213 well," Petroneft said.
