Prabhat Singh is leaving his role as Gail's director of marketing and taking on the role of chief executive and managing director of Petronet, the company revealed this week.

Singh held the director of marketing role at Gail since February 2010 and has also served as the chairman of Gail's Singaporean trading arm during his 20-year career with the company.
