Personnel from the US oil regulator and junior Renaissance Oil have boarded the Ship Shoal 266 A platform following a fire Thursday.
The blaze forced the evacuation of four crew members who were picked up by an offshore service vessel, but no injuries or spills were reported.
The fire was reported at about 2:30 am local time Thursday but was extinguished by 5:50 am after four service vessels responded.
