Industry sources close to the tender process said bids have been submitted to Qatar Petroleum and the winner is likely to be decided by the end of the year.
“We have submitted bids which are valid for another month or two. Hopefully, the project would be awarded by then,” a source from one of the competitors told Upstream.
Those understood to be in the FEED contest include Australia’s Worley Parsons, Technip of France, the UK’s Amec Foster Wheeler and McDermott and KBR of the US.
