The industrial action is over Woodside’s move to make workers stay in different accommodation in Karratha each working cycle, a practice known as "motelling", the ABC news reported.
Woodside accused the unions representing the workers as engineering the strike and questioned their motives for rejecting a practice already put in place at the Gorgon LNG project.
The practice is required for the Pluto project to allow more people to be employed during peak construction, Woodside was quoted as saying in the news report.
