Reprocessing of the 6800-kilometre 1972 Gulfrex seismic survey marked the completion of an 18-month process.
The survey data covers the Coral, Solomon and Bismarck Seas and skirts the perimeter of New Britain province.
“We are very pleased with the results of this reprocessing considering the age of the tapes and the original acquisition parameters in use at the time,” said Sanjeev Mittal, managing director of Samit Spectrum.
