Premier Oil, a partner in a consortia led by Talos Energy that won Blocks 7 and 2 off Mexico last year, said the group plans to go to the market in the fourth quarter for the unit ahead of an expected first spud in 2017.
"It is anticipated that the joint venture will go out to tender for a moored, semi-submersible rig for Block 7 in Q4 2016," Premier said in an earnings report.
