Test results on the well, situated on the Dos Puntitas field, had supported President’s group production target of between 1300 and 1500 barrels of oil per day, the company said, with the three reservoirs containing 33 metres of net pay.
The well’s carbonate interval had achieved a flow rate of over 300 barrels of oil per day without any stimulation or pumping and a flow rate of 30 kilograms per square centimetre, President said.
