The LS30-3-1 is being drilled using China Oilfield Service's jack-up rig HYSY 941 some 20 kilometres north of the LS36-1 gas field platform, and is targeting a large channel sand prospect.
Drilling time is anticipated to be around 25 days, and the well is the second of Primeline's 2015 rolling development programme anchored on the LS36-1 production.
