The Warro-6 well has encountered strong gas shows in a number of sandstone units below 4147 metres.
Transerv said Monday it was continuing to experience significant, elevated gas readings in the sands to its present depth of 4387 metres, which it noted was 70 metres below the lowest known gas in previous Warro wells.
