Prudhoe Bay pipelines to be replaced

BP is to replace the main oil transit lines linking its Prudhoe Bay oilfield to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline following the shutting down of the oilfield, Bob Malone, the head of the UK-based supermajor's US operations, confirmed today.
