Upstream reported on Friday that Total had held talks withQGEP on acquiring a stake in the Ipati-Aquio blocks, where the field islocated, but the Brazilian company denied such conversations.
“QGEP informs that there is no interest on the part of thecompany on acquiring blocks in the Incahuasi field in Bolivia,” QGEP said in astatement.
QGEP also said the company remains focused at this time onBrazil, “which is experiencing a new and promising moment in the oil and gassector”.
