Well partner Carnarvon Petroleum revealed Monday the operator was still waiting on rig owner Noble to receive certification and approval l for in-transit safety case modifications to the rig.
Carnarvon had stated earlier this month the exploration well was likely to be spudded around 17 November after Quadrant took delivery of the jack-up Noble Tom Prosser from Vermilion Energy.
The well was originally expected to be spudded on Block WA-437-P in September before it was revealed Vermilion would first use the jack-up to carry out drilling at its Wandoo field.
