Four contractors have shared the award, which have a fixed term of six years, with options to extend this for up to another six years, Aramco said in its weekly newsletter, The Arabian Sun.
The company did not, however, identify the winning bidders, referring to them only as “internationally renowned engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore installation contractors”.
Upstream reported recently that the award was due to be shared by US players McDermott and Dynamic Industries, India’s Larsen & Toubro and Italy’s Saipem.
