The Saudi state giant, South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries, Lamprell of United Arab Emirates and the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to push ahead with due diligence on the would-be project.
The quartet will study the feasibility of setting up the maritime complex that would conduct engineering, manufacturing and repair of rigs, offshore service vessels and commercial ships.
