According to a document sighted by Malaysian newspaper The Star, the company has been prohibited from making any reference to or utilising its Petronas licence (a prerequisite for companies to supply goods and services to the upstream, downstream or maritime sectors in Malaysia) as of 17 July.
In addition, any persons connected to the company would no longer quality or be allowed to participate in any Petronas tenders and ongoing tenders which were to be awarded to Ranhill Worley would be passed on to the next recommended bidder after negotiations, the document stated.
