The Gardendale asset package included 4600 net acres on the border of Midland and Ector counties where the Denver-based independent had average production of 1649 barrels of oil equivalent per day from the Wolfcamp Shale.
Resolute will use proceeds to pay down debt and fund development work on its acreage in Reeves County on the Delaware side of the Permian basin as well as in conventional fields in Utah.
