Rex Energy is selling a natural gas field in the Utica Shale in Ohio to competitor Antero Resources for $30 million cash.
The Warrior South field includes 14 gross wells and 4100 net acres in Guernsey, Noble and Belmont counties in Ohio with current production of 9 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalent per day.
Rex will use cash from the sale to pay down debt and for general corporate purposes.
