Rex revealed Tuesday it would subscribe for 1 million shares in Lime's subsidiary, Lime Petroleum Norway (LPN), at a nominal value of Nkr100 per share.
It said Lime needed the cash to fulfil obligations under its drilling programme and for general working capital requirements.
The share deal will see Rex hold a direct interest of about 26.18% in LPN, with Lime holding the remaining 73.82%
