The Abu Dhabi-based player reported a net profit for the period of $35 million, up slightly from $33.1 million a year ago, as revenue rose 8% over the year to $98.2 million.

The company, with a current backlog of $664 million including $322.1 million in extension options, also expects “a significant increase” in earnings in the second half from work for newbuild vessels that are being added to the fleet, with full-year net income set to be in line with expectations.
