Minority stake holder Carnarvon Petroleum revealed Friday that condensate rich gas samples had been extracted from several locations.
Interpretation of wireline data shows the well intersected 60 metres of gross gas and condensate charged sands in the Caley formation, with 30 metres of net reservoir.
Carnarvon said the rig estimate of liquid content within the gas was similar to that of the Roc-1 discovery well at around 50-60 barrels of condensate per million cubic feet of gas.
