Rosneft chaiman, Igor Sechin and Eulogio Del Pino, Venezuela’s Minister of Petroleum & Mining, discussed “possible efforts to normalise the situation on the global market”, the parties said on Tuesday.
The pair gave no details on what the “co-operation” talks could effectively mean for the Russian and Venezuelan economies that rely heavily on the oil price, which continues to slip.
Also, during the meeting, Sechin and Del Pino discussed co-operation in the area of oil marketing, which is currently being implemented as part of two long-term contracts for hydrocarbons supplies.
