Net profit for the nine months to the end of September was 303 billion roubles ($4.63 billion) as compared with 261 billion roubles in the comparable period a year earlier.
Adjusting for the 45 billion rouble gain from the sale of business unit Yugragazpererabotka in the first quarter of 2014, the number was well ahead of adjusted net income of 216 billion roubles in the first nine months of last year.
