US driller Rowan sold two jack-ups, stacked one and bagged contract extensions in Trinidad & Tobago for three others.

The company said in its latest fleet status report that it sold jack-ups Gorilla II and Gorilla III in the fourth quarter.

Both have been retired from service, Rowan said. It did not give a price tag for the sale. The going scrap rate for jack-ups is thought to be around $115,000, based on previous transactions.
