The well, located towards the north of South Yelemes field at BNG, “has flowed strongly since the New Year and continues to flow well”, Roxi said.
According to Kazakhstan-focused Roxi, the well, drilled to a depth of 2750 metres, flowed at a range of 520 barrels of oil a day to 815 bpd.
Meanwhile, the company said the blockage at its 801 deep well caused by excess drilling fluid has been partially alleviated, “resulting in intermittent flow rates over the past two days”.
